How to install the test app
A step-by-step guide to installing the Google Play test version (closed / internal test), even if it is your first time.
✅ Check this first (this is where almost everyone gets stuck)
1. You need a real Android device. It cannot be installed on an iPhone or iPad.
2. Make sure the Google account that received the invitation is the same account signed in to the Play Store on your phone.
3. Right after you join there is a short delay (a few minutes, sometimes a few hours). If it does not appear yet, wait a little and open it again.
🐾 Steps (easy, 4 steps)
Step 1 Open the “tester invitation link” you received from us in your phone's browser.
Step 2 Tap “Become a tester” on the page to agree to join.
Step 3 Then install using either of the two methods below.
Step 4 Once installed, open the app and actually try it out (please keep using it during the test period).
📥 Two ways to install
Both methods install the same app. Use whichever is easier for you.
A. From the Play Store app on your phone
Tap “Download it on Google Play” on the invitation page to open the Play Store on your phone, then tap “Install”.
B. Web install (from a browser)
Open play.google.com in a browser on your PC or phone and press “Install” on the app. Choose the target device, and it will be delivered to that Android device automatically (like sending it from your PC to your phone).
Even with web install, it is delivered to an Android device linked to the signed-in Google account. You cannot install it without an Android device.
❓ If it doesn't work
If you see “Not found / This item isn't available” → you are most likely signed in with a different Google account. Switch to the correct account from the icon at the top right of the Play Store.
It doesn't appear right after joining → wait a few minutes to a few hours, then open the invitation link again.
Still not working → try clearing the Play Store app's cache, or restarting your device.
🔒 Ending / leaving the test
When you want to stop testing, press “Leave the test” on the invitation link page, or uninstall the app.
